Asphalt and Construction Site Laborers
About The Position
Clove Excavators is a family-owned and managed paving and excavating contractor, serving the Hudson Valley for 20 years. We handle jobs of all sizes for private parties and municipalities, and our diverse team doesn’t rest until the work is done. We are seeking full-time Asphalt and Construction Site Laborers to assist in paving operations and site work construction in Dutchess County, NY. As an Asphalt Laborer and member of our paving crew, you will shovel and rake asphalt, run asphalt screed, and perform occasional flagging work. As a Construction Laborer and member of our site crew, you will shovel and rake stone, install drainage, water, and sewer pipe, and perform other construction site work.
Requirements
- Current/ recent experience in outdoor construction, or similar role required
- OSHA 10 Construction required prior to starting
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to job sites directly
- Physically able to work on your feet all day, outside in extreme weather conditions
- Motivated, “can-do” attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous asphalt/ blacktop experience is preferred
