Student Accessibility Services: Student Accessibility Services (SAS) works with 4,000+ students with disabilities every year to facilitate equal access and reasonable accommodations. Of these students, approximately 7 - 10 students rely on ASL Interpreting for equal access in their academic courses and campus activities. These students collectively take a wide array of courses across all available disciplines while also participating in different campus activities. The Opportunity: Student Accessibility Services (SAS) seeks three ASL Interpreter and Access Specialists to coordinate and deliver ASL interpreting to deaf students in the classroom and on campus. These positions will also support SAS in other ways, though classroom interpreting will be at least 70% of the job responsibility. UCF is seeking to fill multiple roles. Candidates for this job posting will be considered for additional vacancies in this department.
