Requirements

  • BSEE
  • Over 7 years engineering experience supporting Semi-Conductor production.
  • Knowledge of fab manufacturing processes and common wafer/package failure modes.
  • Experience with ASIC failure analysis methods.
  • Experience with JMP or other data and statistical analysis tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing physical failure analysis (SEM, Ultrasonic, cross-sectioning, and XRF tool) is not required, but is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting a wide variety of high-mix/low volume ASICs (DACs, Amps and PreAmps, Attenuators, ADCs, Triggers, etc.) designed and tested within Keysight's Colorado Springs Technology Center.
  • Troubleshooting DC/RF test failures in production (most parts are tested on an Advantest 93K test system).
  • Evaluating data trends/yields for tested parts, including statistical analyses, paretos, and limit setting.
  • Conducting visual inspections of wafers, packaged parts, and test HW for potential issues.
  • Working with ASIC design teams to ensure a smooth transition to production.
  • Handling 30-50 products with volumes ranging from 20/year to 15k/year.
  • Focusing on Continuous Process Improvement including Six Sigma and LEAN.
