About The Position

Why We Need Your Talents: Prepares, seasons, and cooks, soups, meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, desserts, and other Pan Asian food items. Cooks, prepares, and arranges the food to make an appealing arrangement for guests. Assures that guests have a favorable dining experience at our LukFu Asian Restaurant. Compensation: $22/hr

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Culinary arts courses or equivalent experience.
One (1) - three (3) years experience as a line of restaurant cook in Asian restaurants.
Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances
Read and write basic instructions in English
Read and interpret production lists, menus, and banquet event orders.
Complete accurate record-keeping
Communicate in English and fluency in either Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese or other Asian Languages.
Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food

Preparing and maintaining the temperature of the items.
Seasoning and garnishing food.
Preparing all soups and sauces.
Keeping the cooking area clean and in an orderly state.
Maintaining inventory and ordering food items on a daily basis.

Monitor and adjust performance to local competition as warranted.
