About The Position

Commerce Casino is the world’s largest card casino offering more than 200 tables. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for preparing a variety of Asian food items in a timely manner. Knowledge and skills of preparing all items on the menu as well as daily specials. Must be able to produce quality food that appears appealing. Must maintain a “safety first” attitude. Makes sure all items are stocked and area is clean. Prepares only food items that are ordered through computer system. Uses a protective glove when slicing meats, fruits, vegetables, etc. Operates various kitchen equipment such as a meat slicer, deep fryer, electric mixer, stoves, ovens, etc. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Sous Chef.

Requirements

  • Work Experience Required: 1-2 years cooking experience.
  • Education: High school diploma or 1-2 years cook experience.
  • Other Requirements: Knowledge of Safety & Sanitation guidelines as set forth in the individual job manuals.
  • Must have a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
  • Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
  • A clean well-groomed professional appearance per company standards.
