The Asian Cuisine Deli Cook prepares fresh, made-to-order Asian dishes for lunch and dinner service in a fast-paced casual dining environment at Emerald Queen Casino. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, this role focuses on cooking and prep work across sauté, broiler, fry, grill, and pantry stations while maintaining speed, accuracy, and quality, including the ability to handle up to 30 orders at once. The cook is responsible for daily cleaning, organizing walk-ins and storage areas, and keeping the work station clean, organized, and fully functional at all times. This position upholds Emerald Queen Casino’s high standards for superior guest service, demonstrates professionalism, and supports positive employee relations through strong teamwork. Candidates should have experience preparing Asian cuisine and proficiency in grilling, broiling, and sautéing and demonstrate efficient and organized work habits, maintain a healthy and professional approach to daily responsibilities, and handle money accurately while interacting attentively and politely with the public. Starting wage is $19.10/hr increasing to $20.29/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period.
