About The Position

The Campus Worship Leader provides passionate leadership for our worship team to create an authentic worship experience. This position is integral to the mission of Seacoast Worship, which exists to create music and experiences that reveal the heart of God and lead others into His presence. The Campus Worship Leader will bring inspiration to the vision of Seacoast Worship at their campus, leading and developing a worship and production team of volunteers and occasionally employees to create a dynamic worship experience and provide accessible avenues of spiritual growth.

Requirements

  • Christ Follower.
  • Calling to create authentic worship experiences.
  • Able to lead worship from an instrument.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience leading a worship team.
  • Exceptional musical/vocal talent.
  • Comfortable with public speaking.
  • Able to engage in healthy conflict and initiate hard conversations.
  • Demonstrates spiritual gift to serve others in a team environment.
  • Ability to recruit, lead, and train musicians, worship leaders, production volunteers, and vocalists.
  • A critical ear and the ability to both give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Live and drive Seacoast cultural values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a worship and production team of Dream Team (volunteers) and occasionally employees.
  • Create face to face moments with God through worship and strive to make every weekend experience one that people want to repeat.
  • Drive the weekend worship experience on the platform with enthusiasm and authentic, expressive worship.
  • Insert the weekly sets in Planning Center 4-5 weeks in advance.
  • Provide the key the song will be sung in and ensure all resources are available for the team.
  • Lead the weekend experience, First Wednesday services, and special events in worship.
  • Manage set up / tear down for worship area.
  • Organize stage for specific weekend or event.
  • Oversee all AVL Systems and Production areas for the campus.
  • Schedule and lead mid-week run-throughs and the entire weekend services routine.
  • Ensure Ableton sessions are properly programmed for services/events.
  • Program projection assets for main screen(s) and environmental projection.
  • Program lighting cues within the lighting software.
  • Navigate a digital audio console for mixing a full band and host/video transitions.
  • Work with the central Technology Team to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
  • Lead production team meeting before each weekend service.
  • Lead worship for special Seacoast events including Christmas and Easter services.
  • Meet consistently with Campus Pastor for mentoring and development.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and All-Staff meetings.
  • Connect monthly with Central Worship Pastor.
  • Utilize Microsoft Teams for resources and communication.
  • Manage and organize Mid-Week Run-Throughs.
  • Create service flow to reflect all elements and transitions.
  • Partner with the Campus Pastor to create a worship team budget.
