About The Position

Join Us in Safeguarding Product Quality Shape the microbiological integrity of our manufacturing environment. In this specialist role, you will perform comprehensive microbiology testing spanning environmental/water/bioburden monitoring, media and lab supply preparation, sterility testing, and microbial identification—delivering reliable results under USP, ISO, GMP, and SOP guidance. What You’ll Do Environmental & Personnel Monitoring: Execute surface swabs, gowning monitoring, viable air sampling, and non-viable particle counting to support manufacturing. Media & Supply Prep: Prepare culture media; sterilize and autoclave supplies; maintain lab inventory. Method Performance: Conduct growth promotion testing and sterility verification to ensure method suitability. Routine & Specialized Testing: Perform water testing, disinfectant and pre-sterilized product assessments using aseptic technique in laminar flow hoods. Result Interpretation: Read plates and liquid media; deliver accurate final reads and documentation. Product Quality Checks: Carry out particulate matter testing in a laminar flow hood with precise data capture. Validation Support: Test biological indicators aseptically to support validation and production activities. Isolator Operations: Load sterility isolators, run VHP cycles, and perform sterility testing of finished products. Materials Management: Receive and document consumables and media; ensure traceability. Data Governance: Review microbiology data promptly for accuracy, GDP, and SOP compliance. Your Background BS in Biology, Microbiology, or related life science. Strongly preferred: experience in aseptic manufacturing operations and aseptic laboratory practices. Comfort with metric conversions and ratio calculations. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and customized lab systems. Working knowledge of basic cGMP and good documentation practices. Requirements

  • BS in Biology, Microbiology, or related life science.
  • Comfort with metric conversions and ratio calculations.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and customized lab systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic cGMP and good documentation practices.
  • Competence in technical/scientific writing.
