About The Position

Obtain key insights and provide support with daily operations. Assist with Planning Commission staff reports, inspections, planning processes, and the opportunity to present to the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Support strategic planning projects in transportation, transit, and comprehensive planning. Data analysis for signs, land use inventory, and other duties as assigned. This is a 2026 summer internship.

Requirements

• Students enrolled in an Urban Planning, Geography, Political Science, Architecture, or Public Administration curriculum as a full-time student at a college, university, or vocational technical school.
• Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use programs such as GIS and Microsoft Office.
