About The Position

The ASC Transporter is responsible for assisting patients to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and providing a general courier service to Hattiesburg Clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older, required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Professional appearance
• Outgoing and pleasant personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deal with stressful and complicated situations with poise and precise decision-making
• Ability to walk and remain on feet for several hours at a time
• Assist with lifting amounts of weight more than 100+lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or reaching, both overhead and at or below shoulder level
• Constant communication (including speaking and hearing) both face to face and over the phone
