Your Impact in the Operating Room As an integral member of our surgical team , you will ensure a seamless experience for our surgeons and patients: Precision Preparation: Assemble supplies, open sterile fields, and set up instruments tailored to specific surgical procedures. Intra-Operative Excellence: Anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures and apply strict principles of asepsis to ensure patient safety. Instrument Stewardship: Oversee decontaminating and sterilizing equipment, ensuring all tools are cleaned and ready for a busy caseload. Safety First: Maintain clinical competencies, respond to emergencies with a calm demeanor, and adhere to all HIPAA and safety protocols. Who We Are Looking For Certification: Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) is REQUIRED . BLS: Current BLS Certification required. Experience: Minimum of 6 months of surgical experience. GENERAL SUMMARY The Surgical Technologist is an integral member of the surgical team and provides quality care to our patients. Care is rendered by providing and controlling the sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment required during surgical intervention. The technologist ensures that the instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized, and available when needed.
