About The Position
The Ambulatory Surgery Center RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- Current California RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) and ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Applies appropriate theory as a basis for decisions regarding nursing practice.
- Perform initial physiological and psychosocial needs assessment on all patients within 30 minutes of admissions and shift assessment within (2) hours of coming on duty.
- Communicates appropriate data to the physician and other patient care team members.
- Collaborates with other discipline to plan and coordinate care.
