About The Position

The ASC Clinical Supervisor at Green Eye Care plays a pivotal role in the planning, organization, and direction of patient care and related activities within the facility. This position is essential for ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained in the Operating Room and Pre/Post-operative settings. The Clinical Supervisor will perform the duties of an Operating Room or Pre/Post-operative Staff Nurse and will assume the responsibilities of facility supervision in the absence of the Administrator. This role requires a commitment to supporting the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the organization, as well as adherence to approved policies and procedures. In this position, the Clinical Supervisor will actively participate as a team member in the total perioperative process, ensuring that patient rights are considered in all duties performed. The role involves contributing to the development and progress of the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, performing according to established continuous quality improvement policies, and preparing medical records for surgeon and anesthesia peer review. The Clinical Supervisor will also be responsible for reviewing patient surveys, summarizing data, and preparing quarterly reports to communicate areas of concern to administration in a timely manner. The Clinical Supervisor will review and recommend modifications to policies and procedures, support the development and implementation of new policies as needed, and ensure compliance with documentation in medical records. This position also involves monitoring the facility's physical environment to maintain safety, comfort, order, and cleanliness, and reporting the status of the environment regularly. Leadership responsibilities include effective communication with patients, visitors, physicians, and team members, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting positive interactions among all team members. The Clinical Supervisor will also chair the Safety Committee and participate in meetings to address any issues that arise, ensuring that all compliance training is completed as required.
