About The Position

The Asbestos Worker is responsible for performing asbestos abatement and related fieldwork in accordance with regulatory standards and company safety protocols. This role involves working with ACM (asbestos-containing material) crew members to remove industrial pipe wrap, gaskets, and other materials. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and a strong team player. This position is primarily based in Colorado with minimal travel requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in asbestos abatement.
  • Valid Colorado asbestos abatement certifications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Ability to work safely in hazardous environments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in construction, restoration, or mold remediation.
  • Experience with asbestos pipeline removal.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily timecards and job safety analysis (JSA) forms.
  • Submit incident reports as needed.
  • Maintain effective daily communication with crew members and supervisors.
  • Conduct asbestos abatement procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Follow proper disposal procedures for asbestos-containing materials.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety protocols.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as hand auguring, shoveling, and lifting.
  • Secure the job site at the end of each workday.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
