Asbestos Supervisor – Abatement and Demolition Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced an Asbestos Supervisor to lead and manage on-site operations for environmental projects, with a strong emphasis on asbestos abatement, lead paint abatement, mold remediation and interior demolition. This is a field-based role covering the Atlanta market and Southeastern U.S., requiring travel to various job sites and close coordination with crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in fieldwork: asbestos, mold, demo, or related
  • In-depth knowledge of hazardous material handling and regulations (OSHA, EPA, AHERA, RCRA).
  • Valid certifications or willingness to obtain: Asbestos Supervisor Lead Renovator (RRP) HAZWOPER (40-Hour) OSHA 30-Hour
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-trade teams on active construction or remediation sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior supervisory or superintendent-level experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise crews across asbestos and lead abatement, mold remediation, and interior demo
  • Make sure work meets EPA, OSHA, and State Regulations
  • Coordinate inspections, air monitoring, and manifest/waste tracking
  • Keep schedules on track, adjust labor and logistics as needed
  • Maintain job site reports, logs, and daily photos
  • Be the go-to for consultants, clients, and vendors on-site
  • Travel to job sites weekly — some will require overnight stays
