• Join us in an outpatient setting, supporting the unit in providing a variety of therapies for patients through the life span, including pediatric specialty care. o Required education that will be provided include: Scanning of clinical documents, navigation of scheduling system, and Epic Workque management. • Work with highly engaged and skilled staff in a fast-paced environment. • Work closely with the Nurse Coordinator on the clerical processes of the unit. • Enjoy a schedule that provides excellent work-life balance. • Engaged leadership to assist you in being successful in your role (Nurse Clinicians, Educators, Managers) o Shared governance both unit and organizational level o Quality initiatives o Research initiatives • Access to College Library; Fitness Center; outpatient pharmacy located within the hospital; Discounts at many local community partners Coordinate department communications as needed, answer the telephone, coordinates patient appointments (for non-prior authorization appointments) Maintains department daily transfusion form Verifies insurances needing review for each appointment Operates basic office equipment and trains other members as needed Demonstrates proficient computer skills Maintains Department Filing Maintains Scheduling Workque Develops reports and data necessary for unit operations Maintains adequate stock unit supplies Assists in the implementation of specialized projects Provides guidance and assistance to staff for daily operations Trains department members in use of a variety of AMC software Maintains outpatient statistics and presents data to manager
