About The Position

A busy and kind family of four is seeking a fantastic domestic couple to assist them at their home in the West Village. The schedule for this role will generally be Monday through Friday, full-time hours, with some flexibility for events occurring during evenings and weekends. This position is set up to be live-out, but the family is willing to provide separate living accommodations for the ideal candidates.

Requirements

• US work authorization
• Available to start ASAP
• Experience in high-end homes and with fine furnishings and linens
• Experience with service and comfortable with interacting with both vendors and guests

Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning and daily tidying in conjunction with existing part-time housekeeper
• Creating and maintaining household organization systems
• Daily laundry, including fine fabrics and linens
• Assisting in the kitchen with basic prep - chopping vegetables, etc.
• Providing service during events and parties
• Packing for travel
• Monitoring the home for necessary repairs and upkeep - performing light maintenance
• Hiring and supervising vendors
• Work with existing staff to keep the home in running order
