As-Needed RN – Pediatric Supervisory Nursing Visits (1-Hour Visits)

Castor Home Health Solutions is seeking compassionate RNs to conduct state-required, as-needed 1-hour supervisory visits with our pediatric patients in and around Peoria, IL. Castor Home Health Solutions’ private duty nursing services provide compassionate, individualized care for patients of all ages—whether in-home or in assisted living settings. Our expert team is supported by advanced training, 24/7 clinical backup, and more than 30 years of caregiving expertise across over 20 Illinois counties. Our nurses are equipped to address complex medical needs, such as wound care, medication administration, ventilator and tracheotomy care, IV therapy, tube feeding, ostomy, and catheter care, while promoting holistic well-being, prevention of hospital readmissions, and peace of mind for families.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved professional nursing program
- Licensed RN (Registered Nurse) in Illinois (or other applicable state)
- New graduates welcome—comprehensive training provided!
Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-hour supervisory visits with pediatric patients—reviewing medication, vital signs, and care plans.
- Perform private duty nursing visits , delivering specialized, one-on-one skilled nursing care for pediatric and adult clients in their homes or other community settings.
- Educate clients and families on home health care procedures and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to optimize care delivery.
- Recommend and demonstrate medical tools or adaptive devices that enhance clients’ quality of life.
