Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in martial arts, performing arts, or visual arts preferred
  • Assistant and/or teaching experience in the arts preferred
  • Experience in supervising and leading a team is preferred
  • Organizational skills including time management and the ability to prioritize activities/tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants and parents

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate special event details associated with Martial Arts, Music, Arts, Language and Dance departments including dance and music recitals, community performances, belt tests, and annual martial arts tournament
  • Assist in development of annual A&H budget; monitor and make adjustments as needed
  • Build relationships with all participants and families
  • Assist in the hiring, leading, and training process for part time staff
  • Work closely with the Arts & Humanities Director to provide quality programming
