Motivated and detailed-oriented intern to join the Appalachian Center for the Arts team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in production management, allowing intern to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting. Each year, The App holds 3 performance-based summer camps and one technical theatre-based summer camp, serving over 100 local children, ages 5-18. This year we are adding an adult summer camp for individuals 18+. Intern will assist the production team during the performance-based summer camps. Organization Description: The Appalachian Center for the Arts serves as a vibrant regional arts hub in downtown Pikeville, dedicated to theater, music, and visual arts. It aims to celebrate the area’s rich cultural history while fostering community enrichment through high-quality entertainment and artistic education. Interns will have the opportunity to gain: Hands-on experience in a performing arts work environment. Opportunity to build problem solving and design skills. Opportunities to network with professionals in the performing arts. Nights into how technical theatre operations work and contribute to overall success
