The Artist Relations is responsible for the overall relationship with artists, promoters, client teams, operations, and productions teams to create an extraordinary experience at AREA15 events and entertainment. This role will be the liaison for the artist, and their teams needs to manage the day of shows requirements. A strong sense of hospitality and artist experience will ensure successful interactions throughout the shows.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in live events and artist relations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders (artists, talent buyers, venue staff, production, marketing and vendors).
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Dropbox, Monday.com (or similar project management tools), and Teams/Chat platforms.
  • Basic accounting and expense-tracking skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making sure that all portions of the artist hospitality from the artist agreements are fulfilled.
  • Interface with E&E team to get final overview and budgets for the show.
  • Manage external artist relations advance process including kick-offs, meetings, follow-up, documentation, and tracking.
  • Manage catering costs and rider shops to be calculated and flashed accurately.
  • Coordinate all transportation, lodging, hospitality, travel, and arrivals seamlessly.
  • Communicate and ensure requirements are advanced with operations and production.
  • Track and complete all quotes, expenses, and details to be provided to the talent buyer/settlement and accountant.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for artists and their teams on show days, addressing needs as they arise.
  • Contribute to Events, Entertainment and marketing team activities as needed day of show, i.e. contests, promotions, etc.
  • Coordinate with marketing for photography and social media content.
  • Act as on-site contact across venues, as a point of contact for all venue employees needing to interact with the artists.
  • Knowledge of artist bookings across all venues.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure and make quality decisions in stressful situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively between multiple entities (promoter to tour manager, promoter to venue manager, promoter to production manager, vendor to production manager).
  • Basic knowledge of venue staffing.
  • Oversight/ Management of Street Team - Work with promoter personnel.
  • Draft and send advance sheet.
  • Promote shows accordingly.
  • Be available to respond to time sensitive matters.
  • Compile both artist and guest list and send to team at an appropriate time on show day.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
