About The Position
Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is seeking an Artist Relations Coordinator for Roc Nation Distribution. This position is based in New York, NY, and is a full-time, on-site role that reports directly to the President of Distribution. The Artist Relations Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Artist Relations team, helping to organize and oversee music and music-related products and business ventures. The incumbent will assist the team in ensuring smooth operations and that all members are well-prepared for their projects, contributing to the overall success of the team. In this role, the Coordinator will manage a roster of developing artists, guiding them through the early stages of their careers and helping them establish and grow their audience. This includes providing support with distribution, marketing, and release planning advice, working closely with marketing and A&R teams, especially on higher-profile campaigns. The Coordinator will also support releases across both digital and physical supply chains, liaising with various internal departments such as operations, digital marketing, finance, legal, and A&R. Additionally, the Coordinator will manage marketing and promotions budgets as needed, assist in onboarding new clients, and work with senior management and A&R to review and audit artist rosters. The role requires consistent communication with clients to educate them on current best practices in the industry, as well as providing in-depth data analysis, marketing strategy, and digital health checks. The Coordinator will also represent RN Distribution at artist showcases, gigs, and relevant industry conferences, continually striving to offer ideas for improvement and development within their role and the team.
