About The Position
AMETEK believes in developing its leaders from within. As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software Engineering Management Program Associate, you will be part of a small and select group of college students chosen each year for this special program. During the 3-year program, you will receive fully paid relocation to a US-based AMETEK business at the start of each rotation (July of each year). The goal of the rotational program is to expose you to new technologies, new customers, strong leaders, and brilliant engineers to fast-track your engineering career within AMETEK. AMETEK’s AI Software Engineering Management Program is designed for engineers interested in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to real world products and systems. Our commitment is to provide you with challenging professional assignments that prepare you to become a full time AI Engineer within AMETEK upon completion of the program. As an AI Software EMP Associate, you can expect the following: Three 1-year rotations at a different AMETEK business giving you experience with new products, new customers, strong leaders, and brilliant engineers. Individual Development Plan – to thoughtfully track your career progression. Personal Mentor – single contact to provide you with guidance and advice throughout the 3-year program. Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average
- Graduation date between December 2025 and July 2026
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Articifial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline. A Master's or high-level degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in applying AI/ML to endingeering and product-based problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and adaptable to new situations
- Ability to work both independently and as a team contributor
- Willingness and ability to relocate for rotational assignments
Responsibilities
- Applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to product and engineering workflows
- Supporting development of AI enabled product features such as data interpretation, calibration assistance, diagnostics, or workflow guidance
- Working with scientific and engineering data (e.g., signals, spectra, images, logs) under guidance of experienced engineers
- Participating in cross functional project teams with colleagues in R&D, Systems Engineering, Service, Operations, Marketing, and Sales
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives that impact product performance, usability, quality, or service efficiency
- Presenting technical work, lessons learned, and recommendations to engineering leadership and peers
