About The Position

We are currently recruiting an Art Therapist to provide counseling services in person at the Christian Family Solutions STRONG clinic and through a secure video connection during telehealth sessions. STRONG stands for Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation. This is a full-time role with hours generally being 7:00am—3:30pm or 7:30am—4:00pm, Monday through Friday. What you will be doing The Art Therapist provides therapeutic services to children enrolled in the intensive outpatient program and their families. This role serves as a parent/family liaison and is responsible for facilitating art therapy groups, psychoeducational groups, and individual and family therapy. The Art Therapist collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with CFS’s Christian mission and values. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a Human Services related field (psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work or a closely related field) required.
  • Must have required hours of supervised clinical experience with an LPC, LCSW, LMFT; or be working toward the completion of supervised hours with an LPC-IT.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Be registered with the Art Therapy Credentials Board as an ATR-P, ATR, ATR-BC, or ATCS.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate mentally stable and model appropriate boundaries.
  • Timely and accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required.
  • A high degree of responsibility in maintaining confidentiality in all matters pertaining to work.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
  • Conduct all services and therapeutic activities from a Christian-based clinical theological perspective.
  • CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certified after hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess required hours of supervised clinical experience with an LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred.
  • Active Member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran Church preferred.
