Job Description: We are Hiring Art Therapists at Mary & Elizabeth! - 3C Adult Inpatient Medical Psych Location: 1850 Bluegrass Ave. Louisville, KY 40215 About Us Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, part of UofL Health, is a 298-bed, full-service hospital. The hospital offers a full range of orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, surgical, vascular, behavioral health, rehabilitative and 24/7 emergency services. Job Summary The Art Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical services to child, adolescent, and adult patients utilizing art and other expressive therapies to address interpersonal issues that cause emotional distress. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and enrollment in Art Therapy MA program
  • Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation.
  • BLS required from American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree from accredited AATA approved program or non-AATA approved program with a minimum of 18 credits in specified art therapy coursework.
  • OR, significant progress towards MA from ATTA approved program or non-AATA approved program with min of 18 credits in art therapy coursework.
