Art Therapist (CTRS)
About The Position
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for effective communication, especially in non-responsive cases and developmental needs in therapy. Ensures timely completion of assessments, balancing therapist workload, and applying appropriate therapeutic theory. Documents patient responses to interventions and formulating individualized treatment programs based on practitioner orders. Designs and delivers activities aligned with patient needs. Regularly reassesses patients, updating condition-based plans, and provides direction staff on activity-related groups. Maintains timely, thorough documentation in accordance with hospital standards. Specializing in treatment of symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, acute psychosis and other mental health crises. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Art Therapy OR Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) OR Master's degree in Music Therapy OR relevant state licensure/certification.
- CTRS or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older
- Current applicable certification preferred.
