About The Position
The Art Teacher position at Virginia Beach City Public Schools involves planning and providing appropriate learning experiences for students under the direction of the school principal. The role requires creating an environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students, ensuring success for every individual. Responsibilities include supervising students in various settings, monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, and communicating with students, parents, staff, and the community. The teacher will develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students while maintaining appropriate records and following required procedures.
