Art Teacher (elementary and preschool)
About The Position
We are also seeking a part-time Art teacher who can create a structured, skill-building, and inspiring studio experience—one that strengthens foundational technique while encouraging creativity, observation, and personal voice. In this role, you would: Design and lead weekly art lessons that build both technical foundations and creative confidence Introduce students to a range of media and processes Introduce artists who use the medium parents are using Create a clear progression of skills across the term, with differentiation so all students can access the work at an appropriate level Incorporate opportunities for reflection and discussion, helping students learn how to describe their process, revise work, and give respectful feedback Collaborate with classroom teachers when helpful, so art can meaningfully connect to grade-level themes and inquiry units
Responsibilities
