About The Position
Under the protection of Jesus and the Blessed Mother, and guided by the Holy Spirit, St. Mary Catholic School is a faith centered academic community that encourages service to God and others and strives to form the hearts, minds and souls of our students in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Faith. Job Summary: Responsible for planning and instructing art for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Requirements
- Must be a Catholic in Good Standing
- Must have or obtain within 2 years of hiring a valid Colorado Teaching License
Responsibilities
- Prepare Lesson plans designed to implement stated goals that follow an established scope and sequence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish student performance expectations that are clear and consistent
- Maintain an efficient, functional and pleasant leaning environment that sets a high standard of behavior and is consistent and fair to all students
- Support and enforce school-wide policies and rules
- Effectively and respectfully communicate and maintain a positive relationship with parents, students, the Parish community, the principal, and other staff members
- Model an attitude of service
- Be timely with reporting of grades and incidents
- Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Principal
