About The Position

The Art Teacher position at Sunset Elementary is designed to facilitate student success and growth in both academic and interpersonal skills. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the teacher will implement the district-approved curriculum, document teaching and student progress, and address the specific educational needs of individual students. The role involves creating a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment while providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree.
• A valid New Mexico teaching license with endorsements as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Qualifications as established by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
