The Brook – KMI is a 110-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. Requirements

• Bacherlor's Degree from an accredited school in arts.
• CTRS certification through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.
• If you have a Master's Degree from an accredited school in arts you must be under supervision for certification or currently certified in ATR (LPATA with supervision or LPAT required).
• 0 - 1 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree from an accredited school in arts.
• 1 - 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• The Art Recreational Therapist is responsible for planning and coordinating interactive recreational programs to help patients recover from illnesses or disabilities.
• Organizes therapy sessions, develops rehabilitation programs, and ensures treatment plans align with patients’ physical condition and preferences.
