HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: Collaborate with manager, artists, and apparel designers to develop seasonal apparel graphics or print/pattern that support the brand vision. Create innovative designs that are trend right and relevant to our brands. This role is based four days onsite and one day remote in our Atlanta office. 75% Creative Functions: Create original, innovative, and emotional art for children’s apparel that aligns with overall seasonal direction Exhibit knowledge of illustration, color, layout, and versatile techniques in art development Research art trends to bring new ideas to the line each season Work efficiently to meet deadline and follow-though on assigned projects Learn and support established art processes 25% Secondary Functions: Develop and maintain strong working relationships within team Familiarize with cross-functional production art, design, merchandising teams to meet goals on time

Requirements

  • Great Eye for design, color, and layout
  • Well versed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Organized, excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master’s degree program at the time of the internship (certificate programs are not eligible)
  • Availability to start on the designated start date in May
  • Availability to work for a minimum of 10 out of the 11 weeks of the defined internship period which runs from May-August

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)
