About The Position
Commonwealth University’s Department of Visual Arts seeks applicants for temporary faculty positions in Art History as needs arise. Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses in Art History. Duties Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses in the required subject area. Some examples of possible courses: ARH 311 African-American Art ARH 330 Latin American Art ARH 340 Islamic Art ARH 350 African-Oceanic Art ARH 308 Modern Art ARH 310 Contemporary Art The location for these temporary positions varies with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
