Today, we’re looking to grow our creative roster with a conceptual Art Director to deliver incredible ideas and experiences across our group. As Art Director, you’ll play a crucial role within our creative team — delivering creative ideas that aren’t only clever but are also visually stunning. We’re looking for a passionate, creative problem solver and visual artist. To us, the Art Director should have a knack for understanding consumer behaviors, cultural trends, and technology (people use every day) and how to best reach them where they are. When briefed, the Art Director should have a partner mentality, working and collaborating closely with a Copywriter or Designer in delivering compelling creative solutions. We’re looking for a “What-if” thinker. The Art Director shouldn’t be held back by convention or norm but can push and think beyond the expected. The Art Director should be eager to win awards as well as industry recognition for our team. And lastly, we’re looking for an Art Director with a proven ability to confidently share and articulate their ideas and designs to the team while providing insights and human truths to back them up.

  • Be part of creative kick-offs — concept and contribute with a wide-range of ideas alongside the Copywriter and the broader creative team
  • Interpret and interrogate briefs — creating work that wows and is strategically driven and compelling, not just 'cool.'
  • Follow direction from senior creatives while providing a strong rationale behind their work.
  • Create compelling designs, mood boards, storyboards and visual executions for a diverse range of work and clients including promotions, sweepstakes, weekly offers, banners, social content, video, etc.
  • Bring fresh design thinking as well as inspire others around them with new trends in design, motion, type and art direction
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client’s business, their visual brand ID as well as familiarity on how to design for their products and/or brands
  • Manage weekly design tasks alongside the Design Operation team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Copywriter and the broader design team
  • Attend weekly meetings, scrums and daily stand-ups
  • Help with designing dynamic presentation materials that showcase our work in compelling ways for client work and creative share-outs
  • Contribute to the culture of our team by supporting internal programs, initiatives and creative huddles
  • 2-4 years as an Art Director in an agency or brand space.
  • Background in large scale brand activations, promotions, marketing campaigns, social and loyalty programs
  • Strong conceptual abilities — able to quickly generate thought-provoking ideas and the ability to put them down visually.
  • Great collaboration and team skills
  • Killer portfolio with examples of projects that back up your creative thinking.
  • Exceptional design skills (ability to generate multiple design iterations, mood boards and visual treatments to help sell the look and feel of an idea)
  • Knowledge and experience in creating a variety of creative executions (from social content to, promotional experiences, PR events, video and experiential takeovers)
  • Program proficiencies: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Some working knowledge of web design programs like Figma, XD or Sketch a plus
