About The Position

We are looking for a visionary Art Director to lead the creative direction and execution for our innovative marketing organization. As the primary brand steward, you will oversee brand standards, asset development, and all in-house design and production needs across multiple channels—including print, web, motion, social media, and physical experiences. You will play a critical role in shaping how our company is perceived visually, ensuring consistency and innovation in all creative and design efforts. The ideal candidate will be an organized, proactive professional, capable of managing their workload, coordinating with others and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced start-up style / private equity environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B/financial services/tech art direction, graphic design, or brand management.
  • Proven experience in designing for multiple channels (print, digital, motion, social media, events, physical branding) that can be reviewed as part of a portfolio review.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other industry-standard tools.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional projects for on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Excellent eye for detail, composition, and typography.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and digital design trends.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints while elevating and evolving the Candescent brand experience.
  • Develop and enforce brand guidelines to be used by internal teams and external team members, partners, and suppliers, providing training and governance.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality design materials across various channels (print, web, motion, social, events, physical spaces).
  • Guide the aesthetic and creative decisions for marketing campaigns, corporate branding, and digital experiences.
  • Design and manage the creation of marketing assets, including brochures, ads, videos, podcasts, website visuals, event environments, and more.
  • Lead the development of high-impact presentations, infographics, and corporate reports.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and executive teams to translate business goals into compelling visual expressions and experiences.
  • Provide creative leadership for designers, vendors, and external agencies.
