About The Position

Southwest Michigan-based creative agency seeking onsite Photo/Video Art Director experienced in culinary brands. The ideal candidate is a strategic visionary, able to inspire clients, direct creative teams, collaborate with best-in-class talent and work hands-on. The role will require a deep understanding of trends in culinary brands and new approaches to effectively market them.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Photo/Video Art Direction with gourmet brands.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, and Capture One.
• Excellent internal and external communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction and visual design skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-set photo and video production.
• Manage image selection and editing.
• Collaborate with Creative Lead, Account Director, and Account Manager.
• Work with a wide array of staff and contract Photographers, Videographers, Stylists, Imagers, Producers, and Editors.
• Communicate ideas through sketches, computer design, brand templates, tear sheets, and visual standards.
• Manage time and expenses to achieve budgets and deadlines.
• Present ideas and concepts effectively to clients and team members.
