The Los Angeles Times is seeking an ambitious, imaginative and collaborative art director to join its creative department on an interim basis. This position will lead art direction for our award-winning Food brand, ensuring all work aligns with our established style guides. The ideal candidate has experience both illustrating and art-directing for editorial. Experience on photo sets is a bonus. You will be expected to pitch ideas to design and story editors, handle quick-turn daily assignments and manage larger, more complex projects.
