About The Position
Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is seeking a skilled Art & Creative Media Facilitator to lead structured therapeutic groups for adolescents (ages 13–17) in our PHP and IOP programs. This role is ideal for a creative clinician or expressive arts professional who uses art, music, movement, writing, mixed media, or other creative modalities to support emotional expression, coping skills, identity development, and peer connection in a structured treatment setting. Creative groups at AWA are clinically aligned, trauma-informed, and designed to help teens process emotions in a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health or structured setting
- Experience working with adolescents
- Ability to work in-person in Kendall
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Art Therapy, Expressive Arts, or related field
- Background in art therapy or creative clinical interventions
- Trauma-informed experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities

- Maintain emotional safety, boundaries, and group structure
- Manage group dynamics with confidence and professionalism
- Collaborate with clinical and program teams
