About The Position

As a Guest Services Arrivals Attendant at Wild Rivers Waterpark, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming and safe environment from the moment they arrive. In this role, you’ll greet visitors, conduct bag checks, enforce park policies, and provide directions and information about attractions. Your primary goal is to deliver exceptional service while ensuring guest safety, satisfaction, and compliance with park rules.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear and concise information.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult or stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
  • Flexibility to work in various areas of the park as assigned.
  • You must be able to wear the required uniform and adhere to the dress code.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and engage with a friendly attitude, asking about their day.
  • Perform security checks on bags, coolers, and personal items in accordance with established procedures to ensure compliance with park policies.
  • Enforce Park rules by preventing prohibited items (e.g., glass, alcohol, weapons, large markers) from entering and educating guests on regulations.
  • Safeguard the park environment by identifying and addressing safety risks, such as non-approved flotation devices, pets, or oversized coolers.
  • Provide clear directions to ticketing areas, group check-ins, restrooms, lost and found, and other key park locations.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance by adhering to dress code standards, including proper uniform, hair pulled back, and no phone use while on duty.
  • Stay vigilant and alert at all times, minimizing distractions and remaining approachable for guest interactions.
  • Collaborate with supervisors when handling difficult guests or situations; use the designated signal (raise hand and one short whistle) to request assistance.
  • Offer accurate information regarding park hours, ticket prices, cabana check-ins, kids camp, and other general inquiries.
  • Manage Skyhawk parking lot entrance as assigned, ensuring only authorized vehicles enter and promptly report issues to supervisors.
  • Attend all required training and pre-shift meetings.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with guests, team members, and supervisors to ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.
  • Performs other duties or special projects assigned to support business needs.
