Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC or PNP-AC).
  • Current Washington ARNP license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority.
  • BLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months-company provided).
  • 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, health equity, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care: exams, assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Manage both acute and chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, diabetes, ADHD, and developmental concerns.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies.
  • Educate families on growth, development, nutrition, immunizations, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to coordinate comprehensive, family-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic electronic health record system.
  • Participate in quality improvement, continuing education, and community outreach programs.
