If you want to have a positive impact in the lives of others come join us! WHY CHOOSE FRONTIER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH? At Frontier Behavioral Health, we value our employees and recognize the importance of EVERY employee’s contribution to our mission. Our behavioral health services make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve and contribute to the health, safety, and quality of life for everyone in Spokane County. At FBH we have a variety of client services, including outpatient, inpatient, community outreach, crisis services, partnerships with schools, law enforcement and more. Our evidence-based, culturally appropriate, trauma informed behavioral health services address the diverse needs of those we serve. The Outpatient ARNP performs psychiatric evaluations, formulates diagnosis, evaluates the need for medications, laboratory studies, and imaging, and prescribes accordingly and as licensed by law. The ARNP participates in the development of treatment plans, including reviewing cases with the treatment teams ensuring patient care is delivered in an evidence-based, trauma informed manner. Case consultation with other FBH staff, residential providers and families is provided upon request. The ARNP may, on occasion, be asked to help provide ARNP coverage in other programs. The Outpatient ARNP is encouraged to participate in the Provider On-Call rotation. Call is a 24/7 responsibility lasting for one week, beginning and ending on Monday at 8:00am. Frequency of call depends on how many providers are in the on-call pool, but historically, call is scheduled 4-5 times per year. The majority of the work occurs from 5pm – 8am the following day; however, the occasional call during 8am-5pm is possible. It is expected that the on-call provider will be available by phone during this entire period of call.
