About The Position

Compass Health is currently looking for an ARNP or Psychiatrist to join our Team! The ARNP effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses the prevention and treatment of diseases, while administering quality care for their patients at the assigned location. The ARNP also completes special projects as assigned. This position is for a full-time psychiatric ARNP located in Bellingham, Washington. The psychiatrist effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses the prevention and treatment of diseases, while administering quality care for their patients at the assigned location. This position is for a full-time outpatient psychiatrist located in Bellingham, Washington.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited program with a Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing for ARNP.
  • Active ARNP License in the State of Washington.
  • National Certification as Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalency of NP certification with specific psychiatric training.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) controlled substance registration.
  • 2 years' experience in providing required services in a psychiatric setting preferred for ARNP.
  • M.D. or D.O. Degree for Psychiatrist.
  • Certificate from an accredited psychiatric residency program.
  • Board eligibility required; board certification preferred for Psychiatrist.
  • Valid Washington State Medical license.
  • Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Occupational Health Nurse Certification or similar Certification preferred for ARNP.
  • Experience in community mental health preferred for Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and address the prevention and treatment of diseases.
  • Administer quality care for patients at the assigned location.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical and/or psychiatric evaluations.
  • Maintain appropriate treatment plans for mental health consumers.
  • Educate patients and families on recovery management.
  • Work cooperatively with others in a team approach to health care.
  • Utilize an electronic medical record for collaborative clinical documentation.
