As we continue to grow, we are building the Pacific Northwest’s most comprehensive and high-value oncology network—projected to double in volume over FTE 1.0 Day Shift + call M-F Position Summary MultiCare Health System is seeking a Specialty Surgery Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. Responsibilities First Assists in Operations on cancer surgery On call for practice and ER as needed for the practice Independently manages Hospital based care Has specialized training or practice focused on surgical oncology Independently manages outpatients Develops plan of care for surgical oncology patients Coordinates patient care with other specialties Supervises RN and MAs in the treatment of surgical patients Develops educational tools for patients Educates patients on their disease Requirements Washington State Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association Why MultiCare Cancer Institute? Requirements

  • Washington State Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
