Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around over 7,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 350 locations. Ours is a diverse workforce, with roles ranging from trainers, human resources, teachers, psychologists to storekeepers, financiers, project and programme managers, and policy secretariat staff. There are many different functions and professions delivering key outputs for the Army. This post will be within the Army Civilian People Team (ACPT) which sits at the heart of the Army's strategic Headquarters and will work in direct support of the civilian workforce that is recognised and respected by the Army for the value it brings. You will play a leading role in supporting Workforce Planning activity for all workforce types across the Army Top Level Budget as part of the integrated workforce planning team within the Personnel Directorate. Offering workforce planning technical expertise, you will be responsible for building organisational capability across the Army. Working closely with military and civilian stakeholders as part of the Strategic Workforce Planning branch, this will include addressing risks and exploiting opportunities to build an efficient, effective, and sustainable workforce using the right types to deliver the skills and capability required to achieve the Armys current and future objectives. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
