Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and one formation for an Infantry BCT within a 27-month timeframe. The Test and Evaluation (T&E) Lead will play a crucial role in planning and executing HMIF test and evaluation activities in coordination with the Army Evaluation Center. The successful candidate will lead and participate in system-level technical and operational testing of the HMIF Armor BCT and Infantry BCT formations. The T&E Lead is responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting in the development of testing tools and methodologies, coordinating with testing organizations throughout the T&E lifecycle, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. This role involves developing comprehensive test plans that outline objectives, methods, resources, and schedules for evaluating prototypes. The T&E Lead will also establish and review detailed procedures for conducting tests, including defining test scenarios, conditions, and metrics for performance evaluation. In addition, the T&E Lead will organize and oversee the execution of tests, ensuring all necessary resources, equipment, and personnel are available and properly coordinated. They will supervise the collection of test data, analyze results, and prepare detailed reports and documentation of test results, providing clear and concise feedback to development teams and stakeholders. Compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols is essential, as is the identification of potential risks associated with the prototype and its testing, along with developing mitigation strategies. The T&E Lead will also implement lessons learned from testing to improve future test plans, procedures, and prototype designs, while communicating test results, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and clients. Training and mentorship of team members on test and evaluation methodologies and best practices will also be part of the role, along with overseeing field tests to evaluate the prototype's performance in real-world conditions.
