As an Armed Vault Custodian at Loomis International, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of cash inventory within our vaults. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and physical capability, as you will be responsible for checking identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and change shipments against accompanying receipts or manifests. You will also be tasked with counting items, recording amounts and serial numbers, and signing and dating receipts and manifests to ensure accurate inventory management. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading wagons or flatbed carts filled with bags and boxes of coins, as well as sorting individual cargo items by route. Effective communication is essential, as you will need to interact verbally with co-workers and customers via telephone. The work environment is primarily within a vault, which may have limited exposure to outside light, and you will be expected to maintain a full-time schedule that can average between 40 to 50 hours per week, typically requiring a minimum of 5 days of work during a 6-day period.
