About The Position

Be a part of this historic event, ensuring the safety and security for local and visiting fans. We are seeking qualified ARMED personnel to provide security excellence in and around rail transit stations for the duration of the tournament. This is a TEMPORARY role including paid training process and tournament coverage. There is opportunity to transition into a full-time role. Pay rate: $27.58 / hour Instant Pay and weekly pay available! Excellent Veteran Opportunity Preferred certifications: Baton Certified Handcuff Certified Pepper Spray Certified CPR/First Aid Certified Comfortable commuting to Downtown, Central, San Fernando Valley, or San Gabriel Valley areas As an Armed Transit Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in public transit stations. Strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork. This position requires physical activity, including standing/walking for the duration of the shift and ability to employ/utilize equipment.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- California armed security license (BSIS)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
- MUST be available WEEKENDS; open and flexible to various shifts (swing or overnight)
- MUST be available and flexible for 10+ day training schedule (held on weekdays, scheduled within a 2-3 week period)

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by station location.
