About The Position
Currently hiring for Special Police Officer (Armed) Special Police Officer Positions are Full and Part Time Must have excellent Customer Service skills Special Police Officer positions require you to pass our drug screen and background check Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable licensing requirements for Special Police Officer (DC) At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements Handcuffing and Baton certification Must be certified with .38 caliber $21/ hour and up Job Requirements of the Special Police Officer include but are not limited to: Special Police Officers protects life, and property, reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements of the Special Police Officer may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Performs other related duties as assigned by management General knowledge of security procedures/methods and fire safety. Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Respond quickly to critical situations Ability to read and write detailed reports Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
Requirements
- MUST ALREADY HAVE AN ACTIVE DC SPO COMMISSION
- MUST HAVE WEEKEND AND OVERNIGHT AVAILABILITY
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Special Police Officer positions require you to pass our drug screen and background check

- At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- Handcuffing and Baton certification
