About The Position

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Hookerton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and interacting with the public to provide outstanding customer service. This position requires both armed and driving duties. You will be part of a team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation, working together to put people first and deliver exceptional service every day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have an active armed guard card or license.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit of individuals in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and routine activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment at the government location.
