As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This armed and driving post requires conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter potential security-related incidents.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by site policies.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and observations during each shift.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing environments and conditions specific to government facilities.
